It is anarchy on the Reef, and the most wanted criminals in the entire galaxy, the Barons and the Awakened Prince Uldren Sov, are preparing an escape from Veterans Prison. You are sent, along with Cayde-6, to restore law and order in the besieged complex, but things do not go as planned, and Cayde-6 ends up paying the ultimate price. Beyond the authority of the Vanguard, you decide to venture to the Reef and do yourself justice. Explore new regions, awaken new powers, get a bunch of new weapons, and discover the lost secrets of the Awakened. Let the chase begin! 1. New destinations to explore: This extension takes you to two new destinations: the Côte Enchevêtrée and the Cité des Rêves. 2. A new story: Following the Red War the Reef is on fire and blood, the whole region sank into anarchy. After Cayde-6's death and the fall of Veterans Prison, the player sets out in search of revenge and goes after the perpetrators. But acting in the shadows, something invisible devises a terrible plan that could well herald the end of this mysterious people, the Awakened. 3. Adventures, activities and competitive play 4. Gambit: a brand new hybrid mode of Destiny 2: Renegades. This new 4-on-4 hybrid mode combines the best of PvE and PvP. Two teams of four race to invoke a primordial and be the first to knock it down. Embarrass the other team by sending a blocker or invading it with one of your players. FIGHT Chase your opponents to the last! Your enemies will strengthen over time, so work in groups to defeat them. COLLECT Pick up the particles that enemies leave behind as they die. You can have up to 15, but you lose them if you die. SECURE Place your particles in the central structure. You gain a blocker by dropping 5, 10 or 15 at a time. Summon a primordial when your team has 75 particles in the bank. INVAD When your bank reaches 25 or 50, you can send a player to a portal to invade the opposing arena and disrupt the other team. 5. A New Raid: A new Raid will be available in the Dream City. 6. 9 new Supers. 7. New weapons and pieces of equipment: discover new legendary and exotic weapons and a new archetype of weapon: the bow.
