Ray Watson, a rising politician, returns to Vietnam thirty years after the fall of Saà¯gon. But rather than bury the ghosts of the past, he is confronted by "Doc", a rabid prisoner of war whom he had abandoned. Doc forces Ray to relive the terrifying memories of their ambush and capture, while government agents assigned to tracing missing soldiers and prisoners of war unwittingly listen to them. It seems that their past still holds many secrets and that neither of the two men is who he claims to be.
