Sy Parrish is a self-effacing man who has been running a SavMart photo lab for years. He lives alone and enjoys doing his job to perfection. For years, the Yorkins, the perfect American family, have come to wear their films and Sy can't help but follow their progress through their photos. But one day, the manager of the supermarket kicks him out when Sy has just found a series of pictures showing Will Yorkin in the act of adultery.
