There was a time when men and beasts lived in the wild and mighty mammoths ruled the earth. A time when the ideas and beliefs that were born would forever shape the human species. 10,000 plunges us into the heart of the journey of a young hunter, D'Leh, who, to save the woman he loves from a terrible warlord determined to possess her, will have to lead an army through the vastness of the desert, thus crossing for the first time the limits of its territory. The group then begins a long journey through lands infested with monsters, and discovers civilizations of which they did not suspect the existence. At the end of their journey, D'Leh and his family discover an unknown empire, bristling with immense pyramids dedicated to a living, tyrannical and bloodthirsty god.
