. In 1943, a small Italian village was decimated of its adult inhabitants by the Nazis, as well as a commando of American paratroopers who came to rescue them. The only survivors, Captain Turner and the village children (mostly teenagers and pre-teens) unite in revenge and form a commando. A female doctor, forcibly hired by the Gestapo, finds herself included in the group. The latter does everything possible to convince Turner to abandon his plans with the children. But it is already too late. Gnawed by hatred, the group sets up large-scale attack plans to decimate all the German soldiers in the area.
