January 1915, in Black Africa. Thousands of kilometers from the coast, a French counter knows nothing about the war which is ravaging Europe. We spend quiet days there in the tropical dampness. One day the news of the great conflict arrives. Seeds of little chiefs and males sure of their morals immediately decide to go and seize a small German post guarded by three unfortunate soldiers, a day's march away. "Singing victory" is the story of the ridiculous epic of this ridiculous battalion, made up of odds and ends and native cannon fodder.
